DescriptionAre you seeking Part-Time or per-diem employment? If you answered yes, JCCA has employment opportunities for you in our Child & Family Treatment & Support and Home and Community Based Services Programs!Child & Family Treatment & Support Services (CFTSS) and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) are Medicaid funded services that are designed to allow children/youth ages 0-21 who are at risk of developing or have been diagnosed with behavioral, developmental or medical diagnoses to participate in a vast array of developmentally and culturally appropriate services in the home and in the community.
Service Providers (SPs) are primarily responsible for delivering quality CFTSS and/or HCBS services to eligible youth to support the achievement of safety, well-being and permanency objectives.

CFTSS Services:
Other Licensed Practitioner Provider (Evaluation) - The OLP for a child in need can be referred by sources such as schools pediatrician etc.
or by a parent/caregiver.
The OLP assesses children whose behavior health conditions have not yet been diagnosed in order to determine which CFCSS services would be appropriate for the child/family.
Requires licensed Social Workers (LMSW or LCSW) LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Creative Arts Other Licensed Practitioner Provider (Counseling) - The therapist, counselor and social workers who qualify as Other Licensed Practitioners provide psychotherapy as well as family therapy assessments and referrals to other services in the home or in the community, which is beneficial for clients who do not do well in an office setting.
Requires licensed Social Workers (LMSW or LCSW) LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Creative Arts.
Community Psychiatric Support & Treatment Provider - services works to develop child's social and independent living skills, stabilize child and family after crisis and help caregivers respond in situations that could trigger a crisis.
Support services work with caregiver to plan child's treatment educate child on appropriate safety and self-care, and connect to resources.
Requires Bachelors in a helping profession and at least 3 years of experience in human services or Masters in a helping profession and at least 1 year of experience in human services.
Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Provider - assist with study habits, coping skills, hygiene, daily living activities and socialization for a child with mental health needs they can address inappropriate behaviors, anger management and coping mechanisms.
Requires a high school diploma, high school equivalency preferred or a State Education Commencement Credential and at least 2 years of experience in human services or Masters in a helping profession and at least 1 year of experience in human services.
Family Peer Support Services Provider - has personal experience caring for a child with behavioral needs.
The provider works with the caregivers to understand their child's diagnosis and development.
They can refer the caregiver to community resources and accompany them to appointments.
Requires lived experience AND at a minimum, high school diploma, high school equivalency preferred or a State Education Commencement Credential.
Can be waived in certain situations with an attestationYouth Peer Support - is between the ages of 21 to 30 and has a similar background to the client.
The provider models' healthy choices, coping skills, self- advocacy and goal-setting for teens (ages 14+) navigating the transition to adulthood.
Requires lived experience AND at a minimum, high school diploma, high school equivalency preferred or a State Education Commencement Credential.
Can be waived in certain situations with an attestation HCBS Service:
Caregiver/Family Support Services Provider- enhance child's ability to function as part of a family/ caregiver unit and enhance the family/ caregiver's ability to care for the child receiving services.
Requires at a minimum, high school diploma, high school equivalency preferred or a State Education Commencement Credential and at least 1 year working with children/youth.
Planned Respite Provider - provides planned short term relief for families' caregivers that are needed to enhance the family caregiver ability to support the child's disability and or health care issues.
Requires at a minimum, high school diploma, high school equivalency preferred or a State Education Commencement Credential and at least 1 year working with children/youth.
Community Self Advocacy Training and Supports Provider- improve the child's ability to gain from the educational experience of attending school, participating in community activities and enable the child's school/community to respond appropriately to the child's disability and/or health care issues.
Requires at least a Bachelors in a helping profession and at least 2 years of experience in the school system (NYC DOE) or in community organization.
Community Habilitation Provider- works one on one with developmentally disabled child to set goals and master skills they need at home and in the community including hygiene coping skills daily living activities like chores and budgeting getting around the community and socialization.
Requires at a minimum, high school diploma, high school equivalency preferred or a State Education Commencement Credential and at least 1 year working with the Developed Mentally Disabled population.
Prevocational Provider- helps teens 14
with topics such as proper work habits problem-solving resume preparation and interviewing.
Requires at least a Bachelors and at least 1year of experience in human services working with children/youth.
Supported Employment Provider-provides teens 14
with a job coach to assist in finding a job or vocational opportunities.
When appropriate the provider can also work with an employer in order to make the experience rewarding for everyone involved.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
